Urgent Care Physician

Job Description:
A clinic in California needs an urgent care physician who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately seven months from mid-July to the beginning of February with a possible extension.
On a typical day, the provider will see between 18 and 20 patients for breathing problems, urinary tract infections, skin conditions, sprains, cold, cough, and flu, fever, minor cuts and burns, back, muscle, and body aches, ear infections, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, and sutures.
The locum will work from 1 p.
to 10 p.
This facility uses the Nextgen EMR and will provide training.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
