Attendant, Milk Reception

Perform equipment set-ups in an efficient manner to prepare the equipment and area for receipts or shipments.
Receive, scale, and unload tankers and trucks, as production requires. Obtain samples for analytical and microbiological testing and perform antibiotic and some analytical testing. Disassemble, wash and assemble all equipment and tankers associated with receiving and loading according to the sanitation SOPs.
Ensure necessary measures are in place to prevent product loss.
Ensure the Master Sanitation Schedule is followed and documented as such.
Rinse floors and hang all hoses properly when not in use.
Adhere to all Company, CDFA, USDA and FDA standards of manufacturing and document as such.
Maintain accurate logs of product received and shipped as required.
While not working as Milk Rec. you will be assigned to Production /Packaging dept. as needs for the plant deemed necessary.
Communicate and interact effectively with plant personnel and supervisors to ensure the smooth operation of the process.
Adhere to and perform sanitation as outlined by the SOPs.
Communicate all spills/product loss, defective material and abnormalities to the Production Supervisor.
Observe all safety rules, work rules, and procedures (i.e. fall protection, chemical handling, GMPs, etc.)
Perform any and all other miscellaneous duties and tasks related to this position as directed.
Job Requirements
Knowledge of Food Safety hygiene practices and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Ability to obtain state Sampler & Weigher License.
Ability to perform basic mathematical computation and use a calculator.
Ability to read, write and speak in a proficient manner and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to work with limited supervision and prepare accurate documents.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work activities and duties.
Ability to multitask, adapt and react to interruptions and production changes without losing composure and efficiency.
Ability to properly perform antibiotic and analytical testing, and make appropriate decisions based on test results.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Ability to perform medium to heavy duty work in terms of lifting with frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, squatting, climbing, reaching, and handling.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
