Assets Protection Specialist

Description: Target is one of the world's most recognized brands and one of America's leading retailers. As an Assets Protection Specialist, you are responsible for the identification and strategic resolution of external theft and fraud. You will use surveillance and intelligence led tactics to aid in the reduction of shortage. High school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Able to physically apprehend subjects. Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members. Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance necessary. Able to lift 40 pounds.Target merchandise discount. Competitive pay. Flexible scheduling.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
